Heddshotts members Lateb and producer Mello Dee team up with veteran Mass emcee XL The Beast to release a fiercely heart wrenching banger. Their new release”Shooter,” is a dark portrayal of what life is like for angry and troubled children growing up without fathers or proper role models.
Mello Dee sets the tone with his ominous production, while Lateb and XL recite deep and thoughtful storylines of characters from different socio-economic backgrounds. Although the protagonists come from different social settings, in both cases it ends with them becoming the shooter. In what is surely an excruciating listen, the two emcees prove that the art of storytelling is not dead.
